This is also a hands-on role so you will have the opportunity to lead by example in the manufacturing of our furniture.
The ideal candidate must have a strong carpentry/joinery background specifically in the manufacturing of 5 piece doors, dovetailed drawer boxes, frames etc. You must have a keen eye for detail and be proactive in working with the design and installation teams to find solutions to technical challenges. This is a senior role which is varied and is a key part of shaping how our workshop evolves as the business moves forward.

- Be competent in using a range of wood-working machinery correctly and safely.
- The ability to use CNC machines would be an advantage but not essential as long as you are willing to learn!
- Have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Have strong skills in quality control to ensure products meet the highest quality and craftsmanship standards.
- Know that you have the aptitude to be a manager – you may have had some experience of managing but want to move into this level permanently as your next career move or you may be an experienced manager looking for a new opportunity – either way we would love to hear from you!
- Have the ability to supervise a team and work closely with other teams, delegate tasks, and enhance workforce productivity.
- Know how to efficiently organise and monitor production workflows.
- Have strong organisational and planning skills.
- Be able to motivate others and drive a positive and high-performance culture to get the best out of our friendly and skilled team.
- Understand health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
