We are seeking to appoint three experienced Teaching Assistants who are able to support the learning of children with SEND. The role is 11 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Work with individual children, including those with SEND and EHCPs.
- Collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Prepare learning materials and adapt teaching support according to children’s needs.
- Look after children’s physical, social and emotional welfare, including first aid duties.
- Be creative and innovative in supporting learning.
- Set high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
- Promote and uphold the school values and ethos.
- Support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs.
- Use initiative to assess and evaluate pupils’ needs.
- Lead intervention groups.
- Flexible, positive, outgoing, caring and nurturing approach.
- Demonstrated experience with children with SEND and a commitment to enabling them to achieve their personal best.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
