Holme Dodsworth Metals, one of the UK's longest-established metals distributors (est. 1879), is recruiting Night Shift Warehouse Operatives and Shift Manager at our Basingstoke site.
Hours: 22:00 – 07:00 | Sunday – Thursday
The core of this role is preparing our outgoing fleet for the early morning runs — loading delivery trucks and sorting intra-group transfers between our UK branches. Working across a range of metals, attention to detail and physical capability are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and securing metal stock onto delivery vehicles
- Sorting and staging stock for intra-group branch transfers
- Picking and checking orders against despatch documentation
- (Managers) Organising the team to meet loading schedules and vehicle departure times
