We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen fora Temporary Vehicle Acquisition Team Leader to join our growing Team here at Holman UK.

? Role Overview

  • Job Role: Temporary Vehicle Acquisition Team Leader
  • Location: Chippenham HQ (Hybrid working available)
  • Salary: £35,000–£40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Contract: Temporary
  • Department Focus: Vehicle acquisition, production scheduling, team supervision, and quality assurance

?️ Key Responsibilities

  • Effective Team Management, including but not limited to;
  • Lead and coach the team to meet KPIs and deliver high-quality service – coaching and guiding staff members to improve knowledge and skill where required and empowering individuals to contribute,
  • fostering an open environment where constructive feedback is actively encouraged, thoroughly considered and acted upon (where appropriate)
  • communicating constantly and consistently – sharing department and company activities and goals to build understanding and engagement
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employee development
  • Complete direct report back to work interviews
  • Work with counterparts in other departments to promote effective cross-departmental collbaboration
  • Act as a first line escalation support to the vehicle acquisition team
  • Manage team workload prioritization
  • Preparation and presentation of reporting data related to the team
  • Act as the department’s representative in cross-functional meetings
  • Manage short and long term projects, and special assignments
  • Effectively manage time and relationships, sometimes managing conflicting priorities
  • Deal with a variety of situations with diplomacy whilst remaining calm
  • Ensure exceptional vehicle ordering experience and internal customer satisfaction

? Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years in automotive, truck-based, or manufacturing environments
  • 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of fleet management and/or leasing industry is a plus (training provided)
