The What…
- Leading and delivering the payroll strategy across the UK and Canada
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and full legislative compliance
- Reviewing and approving payroll calculations, benefits, pensions and statutory payments
- Overseeing payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audits
- Coordinating year-end activities including statutory filings and tax documentation
- Managing and developing two Payroll Administrators
To be successful, you'll have:
- Proven payroll leadership experience, including managing or supervising a team
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation (HMRC, PAYE, pensions, statutory payments)
- Exposure to Canadian payroll legislation is highly desirable
- Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms and payroll reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- A confident decision-maker with the ability to take ownership and resolve issues independently
