The What...

Almost every booking we take starts online.

Through your 18 month contract, you will be immersed in the world of Digital Marketing.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving Marketing team, combined with a Level 4 apprenticeship — so you'll be doing real work that affects real revenue from early on, while gaining a recognised qualification.

Level 4 is a step beyond an introductory apprenticeship.

We're not expecting a finished digital marketer, but we are expecting someone who can already work independently, think commercially and take ownership of a task.

You might be coming from A-levels or a BTEC, from a Level 3 apprenticeship, from a related role elsewhere in the business, or changing career into digital.

Some of what you will be doing...

  • Website and merchandising: building and publishing landing pages, owning our local listings across sites
  • Customer experience and optimisation: help map the end to end customer journey including understanding drop outs and running testing
  • AI: identify opportunities to apply AI to e Commerce tasks
  • Reporting and analysis: weekly and monthly reports turning this into analysis to inform our next steps
  • Campaigns: working on campaigns in our national calendar end to end including content creation
  • SEO: on-page optimisation and content improvements
  • Working with others handling internal requests

To be successful, you'll have

  • Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, AI optimisation, e Commerce and technology, to drive site personalisation
  • Ability to work independently, self-manage and prioritise
  • An entrepreneurial outlook and a strong desire to learn and develop
  • Strong written English, with a good eye for spelling, grammar and detail
  • Confidence with Excel or Google Sheets, and comfort working with numbers
  • Curiosity about how customers behave and why, and the confidence to say what you think the data means
  • A collaborative, hands-on approach — no task too small
  • The organisation and self-motivation to balance study alongside a busy day job
  • Level 3 qualifications (A-levels, BTEC, T-level or a completed Level 3 apprenticeship) or equivalent practical experience, plus GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above

Desirable Requirements

  • Any practical experience of building or editing a website, blog, online store or social channel, including personal or side projects
  • Exposure to Google Analytics, a CMS, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or basic HTML
  • Practical experience of using AI tools in a work or study context
  • An interest in leisure, hospitality or retail
  • What you'll get
  • A fully funded Level 4 qualification, with structured training including AI modules
  • Protected time for off-the-job learning
  • A named mentor and regular one-to-one support
  • Real ownership on live projects, in a business where online is the front door
  • Salary is based on experience*
  • This role is based 5 days a week at our Hemel Support Office
