Night Carer – Braydeston Court
Location: Brundall. Shift: 12 hour shifts, 8pm to 8am. Pay: £14.10 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with comfort, safety, call bell responses, observations, care records, and handover to the day team.
- Help residents feel safe and settled overnight.
- Respond to call bells, comfort needs, observations and handover priorities.
- Record and update care information accurately.

- Provide personal care, support daily routines, nutrition, hydration, social engagement and accurate care records.

- Complete checks, records and overnight observations.

- Help colleagues with records, handovers and standards.
- Escalate concerns while staying within role authority.
Deputy / Head of Shift
- Provide visible shift leadership.
- Support medicines, compliance and handovers.
- Act as the first point of escalation on shift.
Manager
- Lead the home overall, supporting residents, families and staff.
- Maintain care quality, standards and a positive team culture.
- Lead safe, person‑centred care across the home.
- Support families, staff development and communication.
- Align quality, compliance and daily operations.
Housekeeper
- Maintain clean bedrooms and shared spaces.
- Follow hygiene and infection prevention routines.
- Help the home feel welcoming and well cared for.
Maintenance
- Respond to repairs and maintenance issues.
- Support environmental safety checks.
- Work with managers and contractors as needed.
Host
- Prepare dining rooms, drink trolleys and service areas.
- Support food safety, hygiene and records.
- Work with care staff around resident mealtime needs.
Day Carer pay starts from £13.75 per hour.
