Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance) in Tamworth

Warehouse Operative | 2pm to 10pm shift
Location: Tamworth

• Contract: Temporary
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 2pm to 10pm
• Pay Rate: £129 per day | £33,540 per annum
• Essential Requirement: Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Desirable: Reach Truck Licence

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Using a PDA (handheld scanning device) to process and track stock movements.
• Loading and unloading trailers using a pump truck and counterbalance forklift.
• Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational targets.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be comfortable working afternoon shifts.
• Be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties associated with the role.
• Have previous experience working within a warehouse environment.

Essential Requirements
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Ability to safely load and unload trailers using warehouse equipment.
Good attention to detail and confidence using a PDA.
Desirable Requirements
Valid Reach Truck Licence.
