We’re working with a well-established organisation that is seeking a proactive and customer‑focused Call Centre Representative to join their busy office based in Tamworth.
About the Role:
As a key point of contact for customers you’ll play an essential role in managing the full lifecycle of each claim from initial instruction through to job completion. You’ll ensure that each interaction is handled with care, clarity and professionalism while coordinating with a range of internal and external stakeholders including engineers, insurers and trades teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of property claims ensuring all cases are progressed efficiently and within service level agreements
- Liaise with customers via phone and email throughout each stage of their claim providing regular updates and support
- Accurately maintain client systems updating case notes, logs and schedules
- Coordinate with internal field teams and subcontractors to arrange site visits and repairs
- Schedule workloads effectively ensuring technician availability and travel times are optimised
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in claims handling, customer service call centre or housing maintenance coordination
- Confidence in speaking with customers over the phone particularly those who may be upset or in distress
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and professional approach
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
