Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and take full accountability for a team of 18 sales professionals
- Drive daily sales activity to ensure consistent achievement of targets
- Motivate and energise the team through coaching, encouragement, and short-term incentives
- Monitor individual and team performance, ensuring focus and productivity remain high
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and continuous development of the sales team
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and mentoring activities
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture
- Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies aligned to business objectives
- Report directly to the Managing Director and Board on performance, opportunities, and risks
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
- Manage team resources effectively to ensure operational efficiency
- Oversee weekly reporting, performance tracking, and accountability processes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support change where required
- Manage team budgets and quarterly performance objectives
- Resolve challenges proactively, conducting root cause analysis where needed
