Warehouse Administrator

Lichfield | Office Based

Salary

£26,000 per annum

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring inventory is reviewed and managed effectively.
  • Identify slow-moving stock and work with relevant teams to reduce excess inventory.
  • Suggest alternative stock options where required.
  • Raise purchase orders and identify opportunities to negotiate improved pricing through bulk purchasing.
  • Confirm, monitor, and chase purchase orders, ensuring ETAs are updated and delays are communicated.
  • Produce weekly reports on order movements and stock activity.
  • Prepare monthly slow-moving stock reports with recommendations for action.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure stock requirements are met.
  • Support warehouse operations during quieter periods, including picking, packing, and garment preparation.
  • Complete regular stock checks and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Attend supplier meetings where required.
  • Work closely with management to support continuous improvement within purchasing and stock processes.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in stock control and/or purchasing.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse stock levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
  • Experience using stock management systems (knowledge of Cin7 would be advantageous but is not essential).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
  • A flexible, team-focused approach with a willingness to support wider business operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
