Central Walsall (Office-Based)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (1hr lunch)

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to general HR queries from employees and managers.
  • Record and manage holiday requests and employee absences.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Provide administrative support throughout the full employment lifecycle.
  • Prepare reports for payroll, senior management and external third parties.
  • Arrange and book staff training courses and development activities.
  • Draft letters and documentation, including Contracts of Employment, using established templates.
  • Manage diaries and inboxes as required.
  • Support the HR Manager with additional administrative duties and projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience within a HR administration or similar role (ideally a minimum of one year's experience).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English, Maths and IT.
