Location: Cannock | Office Based

Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

Salary: £14.50 – £15.35 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Flexibility: Some flexibility on hours can be considered

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase Ledger — Checking, coding and inputting purchase invoices into Sage 50 and Xero
  • Supplier Reconciliations — Completing regular supplier statement reconciliations
  • Query Resolution — Managing purchase ledger queries with suppliers and internal teams
  • Sales Ledger — Batch entry of sales invoices and posting customer receipts
  • Ledger Maintenance — Performing routine ledger reconciliations
  • Expense Processing — Handling staff expenses and credit card receipts
  • Administrative Support — Providing admin assistance to management and the acquisitions team
  • Reporting — Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports for group companies

About You

  • Accounts Experience — Minimum 2 years in a similar finance or accounts role
  • Sage 50 — Strong proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts
  • Microsoft Excel — Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Attention to Detail — High level of accuracy in all financial tasks
  • Organisation — Strong organisational and communication abilities
  • Work Ethic — Reliable, flexible, hardworking and positive attitude
  • Initiative — Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
