This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity for a school leaver, college graduate, or someone looking to begin or build a career in a fast‑paced office and purchasing environment. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Location: Aldridge, Walsall

Employment Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8am to 5pm (with a 4pm finish on a Friday) | 39 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing supplier orders and supporting the end‑to‑end purchasing process.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight any shortages or potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and update systems accordingly.
  • Create and maintain reports using Excel to support decision‑making.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Support the resolution of supplier queries, delays, or order issues.
  • Provide general administrative support to the purchasing and wider office team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills (Maths and English essential).
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Business A‑Level (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
