About Crook: Crook is in Winsford, once a warehouse and community chapel, is now a unique six‑bed home for individuals with complex health needs and disabilities, including acquired brain injuries, as a 3L service under We Change Lives. Accessible via a wheelchair‑friendly ramp, it boasts a spacious lounge, dining area, and a private garden with a summer house. Personalisation is encouraged in the six light and well‑furnished bedrooms. Our fully equipped kitchen provides nutritious home‑cooked meals, and on‑site laundry simplifies daily life. Our approach is entirely centred on the people we support.
Responsibilities: As a Support Worker, responsibilities include providing comprehensive training to deliver a wide range of assistance, such as personal care, behavioural support, fostering independence and confidence, and nurturing positive relationships through effective communication. You will support people with learning disabilities and complex care needs, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Every day is distinct, and the role involves adapting to the individual needs of each person.
