We are recruiting a Development Apprentice to join our Partnerships Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in development while working towards a degree‑level apprenticeship in the built environment.
At Chime Housing we provide vital services that help people to live better lives. Our Partnerships Team plays a key role in delivering new, high‑quality homes for rent and sale across our communities. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Development Apprentice who is keen to start a career in development, learn on the job, and contribute to the delivery of new homes that make a real difference.
To undertake a degree apprenticeship while supporting the Partnerships Team in the appraisal, delivery and completion of new home developments, contributing to high performance and successful project outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supporting the appraisal and viability assessment of new home development opportunities
- Assisting with the delivery of new homes for rent and sale, including handovers to operational teams
- Supporting customer communication and engagement with local stakeholders and residents
- Assisting with procurement activities, supply chain payments and general project administration
- Helping to monitor cashflow and produce periodic reports
- Taking part in team, project and programme meetings
- Supporting wider team activities and corporate events
What are we looking for?
- GCSEs at Grade 4 or above in Maths and English Language
- Minimum of 96 UCAS points
- A demonstrable interest in development or the built environment
- Positive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn
- Self‑motivated, organised and reliable
- A good communicator and team player, able to use initiative
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Any experience, study or work exposure related to construction, housing or development
