Location: Stoke on Trent

Hours: Monday to Friday - 10:30am to 20:00pm

Salary: £13.00 to £14.95 per hour

We are urgently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Counterbalance Forklift Driver (late shift) to join our team at our Stoke on Trent site. Immediate start.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a logistics/warehouse environment, including loading/unloading vehicles and operating a Counterbalance Forklift truck.
  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving licence is essential.
  • Previous experience in loading international groupage trailers is an advantage.
  • Order picking and stock counting.
  • Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Punctual, reliable and professional.
Responsibilities
  • Efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all customers’ goods to ensure they are received and dispatched appropriately and productivity to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Unloading and loading cargo to and from the warehouse and vehicles by using a forklift truck, pallet truck, VNA MHE or by hand.
  • Loading international groupage trailers in accordance with loading plans.
  • Pick and pack orders to ensure they are delivered on time and in full.
  • Wrap and unwrap of goods.
  • Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt.
  • Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse.
  • Daily housekeeping within the warehouse and site.
Compensation
  • 06:00 to 18:00 - £13.00 per hour
  • 18:00 to 22:00 - £14.95 per hour
