Owens are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & conscientious Truck Wash Operative to support our Llangennech operation working a Monday Friday day shift pattern 08.00 to 17.00 (half an hour lunch break deducted).
Rate of Pay: £13.25-£13.50ph
Ideal candidate will possess the following:
- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- HGV Class 1 Driving licence (DESIRABLE)
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- A basic grasp of machine operation and cleaning equipment operation
The role:
- Ensuring that vehicles are processed through our truck wash to set standards
- Understanding of the Trailer wash system and maintaining cleanliness of HGV Tractor units & Trailers
- Ensuring the appearance of vehicles are at optimum levels
- Moving of vehicles within the premises (full training will be provided)
- Fully complying with Health & Safety legislation as well as Owens Group policies
- Other ad-hoc duties within the depot.
