We're looking for an organised and proactive Home Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of a residential care home. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will provide comprehensive administrative and business support, helping to ensure the home operates efficiently and remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Duties
- Provide general administrative support including correspondence, reports, databases, and document management.
- Deliver a professional reception service, handling telephone enquiries and welcoming visitors.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Manage diaries, appointments, and training schedules for staff and residents.
- Maintain accurate records, electronic systems, personnel files, and compliance trackers.
- Support financial administration including petty cash, invoice processing, mileage claims, and reconciliations.
- Assist with recruitment administration, onboarding, induction tracking, and interview documentation.
- Monitor staff training, supervision records, and compliance requirements.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and ensure documents are correctly filed and stored.
- Work closely with the management team to support quality standards, safeguarding, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
Ideal Candidate
You will have previous administrative experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, strong Microsoft Office knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Experience within a care, health, charity, or regulated environment would be advantageous.
