Role: Support Worker (Twilight/evening shifts)
Location: Holly Court, Mirfield, WF14 0DQ
Shifts: Starting between 5pm and 6pm, finishing at 10pm/11pm, to meet the needs of the service.
Holly Court is a fifteen bed home with its own gardens, located on the main site in Mirfield. Split into three separate bungalows, it boasts three lounges, three communal assisted bathrooms and three kitchen/diners. Holly Court is a happy, lively home where adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities are supported in a person-centred way to achieve their individual goals and live their best lives.
Being a Support Worker at Holly Court is a varied, exciting, and rewarding role. All of our services are unique, being tailored to suit the needs of adults and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and physical disabilities, and our teams work hard to ensure that the standards of care and support are consistent and of high quality.
No two days are the same at Holly Court, but the role will include:
- Supporting with activities, personal care, eating and drinking, supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks, attending appointments and social engagements, clinical support in administering medication and Gastronomy care.
- Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
Your typical day-to-day role will include:
- Supporting with meals and drinks, and helping them to get excited about being involved in cooking and baking.
- Helping with their personal care, including bathing and showering, so they look and feel great.
- Engaging in meaningful activities both at home and out in the community - such as the cinema or bowling.
- Building a relationship with the adults and their families, so that you can provide truly person-centred, individualised care.
Experience is welcome, but not essential, as all training will be given. You do not need to be a driver to apply for this role.

If the candidate does not have a DBS, Hollybank will pay for the DBS check. If the candidate leaves voluntarily in their first 12 months, £58.50 will be deducted from their final salary payment.
