We are able to offer days, nights, a mixture of both, and twilight shifts across our 5 adult residential services in Mirfield - so we’re confident we will have something that will work for you. The role of a Support Worker:
- Support adults with their daily routines including personal care, grooming, and dressing.
- Support adults to eat and drink safely, following detailed Speech & Language guidelines.
- Use specialist equipment, such as standing frames, hoists, and specialist wheelchairs.
- Use a range of communication methods to interact with adults during activities and trips into the community.
- Engage adults in a range of internal activities, including Hydrotherapy, Rebound Therapy, and arts and crafts.
- Work with an inspiring team of colleagues to ensure paperwork is always up to date and of high quality.

Hollybank Trust is committed to Safeguarding vulnerable people, and our Safer Recruitment process requires all employees to have an Enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with our Recruitment & Selection policy. We will pay for your initial DBS check, unless you have a portable DBS, however, if the candidate leaves voluntarily within the first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from your final salary payment.
