Shift Pattern: Full-time hours, with occasional sleep ins.

We are recruiting a dedicated and committed Support Worker to join a beautifully presented residential children's home supporting children aged 6-17 years. You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team to provide consistent, trauma-informed care in a safe and nurturing environment. You will work directly with the children to support their physical, emotional and social development while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with a team of Support Workers, collaborating with Senior Support Workers and the leadership team to create a safe, nurturing environment for the children.
  • Helping children build positive relationships, develop independence skills, and reach their full educational potential.
  • Ensuring the home meets all legislation, including Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, Safeguarding and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable groups.
  • Willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare and undertake other required training.
  • Compassionate, respectful, calm and caring nature.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Reliable, organized and professional – able to demonstrate good team working.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivation to help children achieve positive outcomes.
  • Full UK driving licence.
