What you will be doing:
- Sampling incoming lorry loads of grain and carrying out quality checks before they are accepted into the site
- Monitoring the intake process and liaising with drivers to keep operations running smoothly
- Recording quality results and maintaining accurate data for internal quality control
- Flagging and escalating any issues where loads do not meet required standards
- Supporting the team with ship loading operations, including learning to operate the loading spout (working at height involved)
- Learning to use the control system that manages grain movement within the silos
- Gaining an understanding of grain storage conditions and how we maintain quality standards
- Getting involved in a wide range of practical, hands-on tasks to help keep the site running efficiently
Flexible working hours required during peak harvest - including occasional evenings and weekends depending on shipping schedules. Active, physical role involving manual handling and time on your feet. Includes working at height (full training provided).
