Responsibilities
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of bookkeeping services using Xero or Quickbooks from incomplete client’s records
- Preparation of business and statutory accounts under appropriate accounting standards
- Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
- Liaising with clients over matters arising
- Advising on personal and tax liabilities
- Supervise and support more junior colleagues in their tasks
Requirements
- Familiarity with preparing statutory accounts
- Basic knowledge of corporation tax
- Some audit experience preferred but not essential
- Good IT skills such as Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency with accounting software, preferably CCH
- Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed
- Good communicator and a team player
- Professional and organised
