The role is based at Ryecroft High School and involves using equipment, machinery and cleaning materials effectively and safely, maintaining cleanliness, reporting faults and addressing minor client queries. You will also participate in staff training programmes, perform additional duties as required, and adhere to the Authority’s Health and Safety Policy. A Disclosure and Barring Check will be required.
Key Responsibilities- Use equipment, machinery and cleaning materials effectively, efficiently and in accordance with safe working practices to carry out duties.
- Check and report any faults with equipment, machinery or the building to the on‑site supervisor or Area Manager, describing the nature of the faults.
- Maintain good working relationships with clients and deal with minor queries or complaints, relaying significant issues to the on‑site supervisor or Area Manager.
- Participate in staff training programmes and carry out all duties in a responsible manner with due regard to the Authority’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Perform any additional duties related to the work of the section appropriate to the post as required.
