We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join us on a temporary basis, to provide a comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy service to children, young people and adults living within Hollybank Trust.

The post holder will assess, plan, implement and review communication interventions, including but not limited to Paper and Powered AAC, Intensive Interaction and Makaton, supporting individuals with complex needs to maximise their communication, participation, independence and quality of life.

If suitably qualified the post holder will hold a dysphagia caseload.

This is a temporary position offered on a fixed-term basis for six months from the start date.

Working days and hours will be agreed at appointment and can be structured flexibly within standard operating hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship to work in the UK, and we do ask that you have at least 6 months of UK based work experience in any sector.

Hollybank Trust is committed to Safeguarding vulnerable people, and our Safer Recruitment process requires all employees to have an Enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with our Recruitment & Selection policy.

We will pay for your initial DBS check, unless you have a portable DBS, however, if the candidate leaves voluntarily within the first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from your final salary payment.
