Are you looking to develop from your career within Insurance? We are looking to recruit a Customer Payments Clerk, to join our Finance team on a 12 months Maternity Cover. In this role, you will support the Customer Payments Manager in all aspects of premium collections, credit control, processing customer refunds and reporting. This is a hybrid role - 1 day a week on site at our Southend office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing collection files
  • Managing customer refunds
  • Acting as the first point of contact for finance related queries
  • Supporting credit control activities
  • Assisting with month end and internal reporting

What We Need From You:

  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • A disciplined, organised, and methodical approach
  • Ability to handle confidential financial data appropriately
  • Previous experience within the insurance or financial services sector - beneficial
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent, including Maths and English
