TKC completes over a million mobile security jobs a year, and the IT and information security that sits behind them is what keeps the business running and protected. This role helps build, secure and sharpen that foundation - pairing hands-on IT engineering with a security-first mindset to keep our people, systems and data safe as we grow. You’ll join our dynamic ITOps team, delivering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support while playing a vital role in shaping the security backbone of our business.

Supporting over 200 staff across three UK offices and remote teams, you’ll help lead key IT infrastructure projects and deliver innovative, security-led solutions that protect TKC from evolving cyber threats. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong IT technical background who’s confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll bring sharp problem-solving skills, a passion for secure design, and a proactive approach to building scalable solutions that support our ambitious goals.

What you get:

  • Salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Fulltime, permanent, and flexible working basis (ability to work from home but must have the flexibility to travel into our London Farringdon HQ up to once a week for TKC Collaboration days or as/when required)

Key Accountabilities Outcomes:

  • Keeps TKC’s IT estate running reliably, providing proactive support to around 200 colleagues across our UK offices and remote teams.
  • Strengthens our security posture by spotting, responding to and escalating security incidents and vulnerabilities before they become problems.
  • Delivers IT and information security projects that make the business more secure, more efficient, or both.
  • Acts as a trusted point of contact for information security, embedding good practice across teams.
  • Supports the Head of Information Security in maintaining our security frameworks and passing external audits.
  • Provides responsive, proactive IT support alongside the wider ITOps team, resolving issues across the estate.
  • Manages and delivers IT and information security projects from scoping through to rollout.
  • Triages, investigates and escalates security incidents and alerts so they are handled promptly.
  • Runs regular vulnerability assessments across the infrastructure, documents the findings and recommends remediation steps.
  • Completes technical assessments - InfoSec reviews, DPIAs and supplier assessments - with technical and non-technical colleagues to keep our data and systems protected.
  • Produces reports and presents to stakeholders, drawing on IT and information security metrics to show how the function is performing.
  • Works closely with the Head of Information Security to maintain our ISO 27001, GDPR and PCI-DSS obligations and to support audits.

An excellent candidate for this role will be/have:

  • Strong, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure, with a good grasp of Microsoft best practice to protect our assets.
  • Proven IT Support experience across a Microsoft and Apple estate.
  • Solid understanding of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and SOC 2.
  • Experience using security tools - SIEM, DLP and vulnerability scanners - to identify and respond to security incidents.
  • Able to design secure, scalable IT solutions using modern tooling, including AI where it adds genuine value.
  • Experience supporting ISO 27001, PCI-DSS or similar audits.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS alongside Azure.
  • Background in a regulated or security-focused environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent) - welcome, but not essential.
  • Pragmatic and business-minded, aligns IT and security decisions with what the business is trying to achieve.
  • A clear communicator who builds trust with technical and non-technical colleagues alike.
  • Proactive and curious, with a real drive to improve processes and embed good practice.
  • Takes ownership and cares about doing the job properly.
