We are looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our friendly team providing accountancy to a number of clients across various business sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues.
- Review of junior accounts staff work and completion for client.
- Management accounts.
- Having a portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns to complete each year.
- Supporting and guiding junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience of Iris, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
- Extensive tax knowledge of all areas of personal and corporate taxation.
- The ability to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
- A friendly and confident manner.
- Experience working as part of a team and alone.
- A track record working to tight deadlines and unsupervised.
- 5 years experience within an Accountancy practice.
