Vigilant Security is currently recruiting a Security Supervisor - Mobile Officer located in Edinburgh. The officer will be responsible for servicing a number of sites in Edinburgh. This job requires you to drive a client vehicle when required

Scope:

Location: Edinburgh

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off

SIA Licence and Driving License is required. The officer will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at various prestigious sites, maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Mobile Patrols, Lock ups and unlocks
2. 2. To undertake response to alarm activations on request from the communications centre.
3. 3. Undertake site visit inspections in accordance with management instructions.
4. 4. Proficient use of relevant communications equipment.
5. 5. Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
6. 6. Assist staff and visitors to the sites.
7. 7. Ensuring that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
8. 8. Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
9. 9. In addition to these functions’ employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.

Key Accountabilities Mobile Team/Keyholding:

1. 1. Ensure the company vehicle is road worthy at all times (Daily Vehicle Checks).
2. 2. Respond to all alarm activations in a timely manner.
3. 3. Accurately report all findings from alarm activations.
4. 4. Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur using the appropriate reporting procedure.
5. 5. Unlock / lock up client’s premises in line with the Assignment Instructions and client’s procedures.
6. 6. Ensure all relevant information is passed over on handover
7. 7. Complete schedules to record site visits.
8. 8. Complete all required key registers and seal logs.
9. 9. Inform line managers of any changes to details/job specifics/issues at site.

Personal Specification:

1. 1. Current SIA license.
2. 2. Full Clean driving licence (held for a minimum of 5 years)
3. 3. Experience with Mobile and key Holding dutiespreferred but not essential as full training will be provided
4. 4. Smart and confident.
5. 5. Reliable and self-motivated.
6. 6. Flexible approach to work.
7. 7. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. 8. Good I.T Skills, use of Samsung Tablet
