Shifts: Flexible shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends

We are seeking a proactive, self‑motivated, highly professional Security Officer to join our team in Stockton‑on‑Tees. The role involves acting as the face of our security presence, ensuring the safety of staff, customers and property. You will need excellent communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach to frequently work with and support vulnerable people within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high‑visibility, professional onsite security presence.
  • Actively deter criminal activity, theft, and anti‑social behaviour.
  • Provide robust protection for customers, property and staff, maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
  • Conduct thorough internal and external site patrols, including visual checks of surrounding areas.
  • Manage site open and lock‑up procedures, and respond swiftly and professionally to alarm calls.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and front‑of‑house concierge duties.
  • Engage respectfully and effectively when interacting with or working with vulnerable individuals.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • SIA Licence: A valid SIA licence is essential for this role.
  • Vetting: Must be able to provide a full, 5‑year checkable history to complete standard BS7858 vetting and screening.
  • Flexibility: Must be flexible to work various shift patterns, including weekends.
  • Attributes: Smart, presentable, polite and approachable.
  • Punctual, reliable and highly vigilant.
  • Professional and confident in making independent decisions on your own accord.
