Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group *

A little about South Moor Lodge

South Moor Lodge is located in the idyllic village of Walkeringham (5 miles to the West of Gainsborough).

The home is centred around a nineteenth century barn, whichhas been selectively extended in keeping with its character.

This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation.

The home sits within two acres of landscaped grounds, and provides personal and dementia care for 41 residents.

  • Role Responsibilities as a Care Assistant
  • You’ll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
  • You’ll be responsible for promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • You’ll complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
  • Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year.
  • Role Requirements as a Care Assistant
  • Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
  • Residing 30 minutes or less near to the care home.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • A caring and nurturing attitude.
  • A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
