About St Andrew’s Nursing & Care Home:

St Andrew’s is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities as a Cook:

  • Providing, managing, and developing a high-quality catering service to our residents, guests and visitors to the home.
  • Operating a safe, professional, and cost-effective catering service within the company operational standards and complying with all statutory requirements.
  • Ensuring that all our residents are provided with enough choice of nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, broadly following the standard menus.
  • Ensuring that food orders are made punctually two times a week and that the food costs are within budget throughout the year.

Role Requirements as a Cook:

  • Level 3 in Catering or be contractually signed up to complete this qualification.
  • Hold two years minimum catering experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience conducting effective person-centred one to ones.
  • Hold one year minimum people management experience.
  • Live within 20 minutes of the Home.
