St Andrews Nursing and Care Home is located in Ewerby, Sleaford NG34 9PL, UK. This is a permanent, full-time position with an hourly fixed salary of £14.13.

Hours: Full time 9am to 5pm, 5 shifts per week including weekend working.

About St Andrew's Nursing & Care Home:

St Andrew’s is set around a lovely old vicarage, providing personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities as an Activity Co‑ordinator:

  • Plan and organise activities.
  • Good time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and enthusiastic.
  • Be an Ambassador for the Company both inside and outside of the home.
  • Contribute to residents' well-being through thoughtful, personalised activities.
  • Provide support for residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges.
  • Ensure the activity calendar is uploaded to Facebook each week.
  • Encourage and involve team members, relatives, and friends in the home’s activities.

Role Requirements as an Activity Co‑ordinator:

  • At least two years’ relevant experience as an Activity Co‑ordinator in a care home or similar environment.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities; or must agree to work towards one.
  • Must be able to work 35 hours minimum per week including 2 weekend days every four weeks.
  • Live within 20 minutes of the Home.
