Job function: Reporting to Group Head of IT, the Project Manager will have accountability for the end‑to‑end delivery of two Sage X3 implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed business outcomes. As part of our continued growth and systems strategy, we are rolling out Sage X3 as our core ERP platform across the group. Two major upcoming programmes will onboard TXO Germany. While aligned to the group’s core business model, each subsidiary has local commercial, financial, operational, and regulatory nuances that make these implementations distinct and challenging.

The role will coordinate multi‑disciplinary, multi‑country teams including:

  • TXO’s in‑house Sage X3 subject matter experts
  • An external Sage X3 consulting and support partner
  • Local IT and business resources within each subsidiary

Success in this role will depend heavily on strong stakeholder management, cross‑cultural communication, and deep experience delivering ERP rollouts into international subsidiaries.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Own the end‑to‑end delivery of the Sage X3 implementations for Airway (US) and TXO Germany.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, risk logs, dependencies, and resource plans.
  • Manage scope, change control, and inter‑project dependencies across both implementations.
  • Ensure consistent delivery approaches while accommodating local statutory, financial, and operational requirements.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of coordination between UK Group functions and in‑country leadership teams.
  • Engage senior stakeholders across IT, Finance, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain in each geography.
  • Provide clear, regular status updates to central leadership and local management teams.
  • Proactively manage expectations and resolve conflicts or blockers.

ERP & Process Focus:

  • Ensure core ERP processes are fit for purpose across:
  • Financial accounting and reporting
  • Stock and inventory management
  • Intercompany trading
  • Order management and fulfilment
  • Work closely with business leads and system experts to balance standardisation with legitimate local variation.
  • Third-Party & Systems Integration:

    • Manage delivery partners and system integrators, holding them accountable for agreed outcomes.
    • Coordinate integration to local systems and applications with in‑country IT support.
    • Ensure data migration, cutover, and go‑live activities are planned and executed robustly.

    Governance & Assurance:

    • Establish and operate appropriate project governance, controls, and reporting.
    • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and mitigations.
    • Ensure projects comply with group IT, security, and change management standards.

    Go-Live & Transition:

    • Lead go‑live readiness, cutover planning, and hyper‑care phases.
    • Ensure business readiness through training, communications, and operational handover.
    • Drive formal project closure with documented outcomes and lessons learned.

    About you:

    • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering ERP implementations in a commercial environment.
    • Demonstrable track record of rolling out ERP solutions to international subsidiaries from a central / HQ‑led programme.
    • Strong understanding of finance, stock management, and operational processes within an ERP context.
    • Experience managing internal teams, external system integrators, and senior business stakeholders.
    • Thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment – you’re comfortable with change and take ownership to drive progress without needing rigid structures or hierarchy.
    • Bring a challenger mindset – you’re always looking for better ways of doing things, driving improvements that deliver real impact for the business and the environment.
    • Motivated by our mission – you’re inspired by TXO’s vision to make technology more sustainable and excited to be part of a growing, forward‑thinking business shaping the future of the industry.

    Highly Desirable:

    • United States operations, and/or Germany or DACH region organisations.
    • Experience working within a UK‑headquartered, internationally operating group.

    Skills & Attributes:

    • Confident operating at senior stakeholder and executive level.
    • Highly organised, outcome‑focused, and comfortable managing ambiguity.
    • Strong communicator, able to bridge technical, financial, and operational perspectives.
    • Pragmatic, resilient, and able to drive momentum in complex change environments.
    • Willing and able to travel internationally as required by the programme.

    Rewards:
