Part-Time Parts Delivery Driver
North Oxford Garage | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
North Oxford Garage is looking for a reliable and professional Part-Time Parts Delivery Driver to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts safely and efficiently to our customers, while providing a friendly and professional service.
Working hours
- Working days to be agreed
Key responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts to customers accurately and on time
- Load and unload parts safely
- Check deliveries against the relevant paperwork
- Obtain proof of delivery where required
- Maintain high standards of customer service
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy
- Report vehicle defects, delivery issues or discrepancies promptly
- Assist the Parts Department with general duties when required
- Follow all company procedures and health and safety requirements
About you
You will:
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
- Have a safe and responsible approach to driving
- Be punctual, dependable and well organised
- Have good communication and customer service skills
- Be comfortable handling and lifting automotive parts
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ideally have previous delivery-driving or automotive experience, although this is not essential
