In support of our exciting expansion in Oxford with the all-new to the UK, CHERY brand, we are looking to appoint an experienced retail automotive Sales Manager. The role requires the successful candidate to motivate, train, and develop a team of sales executives representing the growth ambitions for the CHERY brand in our market area.
Responsibilities
- Motivate, train, and develop a retail automotive sales team to achieve growth targets for the CHERY brand.
- Implement a robust, detailed, modern CRM and enquiry management process.
- Maintain the highest standards of customer care, retail presentation, and brand compliance.
- Apply a data‑led MI approach to support effective financial controls and incremental profit contribution.
- Fulfill Consumer Duty requirements laid out by the FCA, ensuring ‘Treat Customers Fairly’ through structured training and compliance tools.
- Represent the CHERY brand, aligning organisation image and actions with modern, high‑tech products.
Qualifications
- A strong track record of success in a consumer‑oriented, fast‑paced, retail automotive sales operation.
- Experience in the automotive industry and using CRM and MI tools.
- Leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a sales team.
- Knowledge of FCA Guidance and Consumer Duty requirements.
- Valid full driving licence.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
