Due to continued growth through new client wins and strategic acquisitions, we are expanding our Occupational Hygiene team and are looking for an experienced Occupational Hygienist to join us at an exciting stage in our journey.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an Occupational Hygienist with current or previous field experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. Working closely with and supported by our Lead Hygienist, you will:

  • Lead and manage occupational hygiene projects
  • Take ownership of client relationships and technical delivery
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Develop your technical expertise and professional standing
  • Contribute to shaping and strengthening a growing hygiene function

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting workplace exposure assessments, including dust, fumes, vapours, noise, and LEV evaluations
  • Visiting client sites to design and implement exposure monitoring programmes
  • Producing high-quality technical reports with clear, practical recommendations
  • Interpreting monitoring results and advising clients on control measures and compliance strategies
  • Supporting health surveillance recommendations aligned to monitoring outcomes
  • Acting as a technical point of contact for clients
  • Mentoring and supporting trainee and junior hygienists
  • Contributing to continuous improvement in processes and reporting standards

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for:

  • Experience working as an Occupational Hygienist (current or previous field-based experience)
  • Strong technical knowledge of workplace exposure assessment
  • Experience producing professional technical reports
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
  • BOHS qualifications (W modules, CertOH, DipOH, or working towards)
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
  • Experience across multiple industry sectors
