We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Public Area Cleaner to join the team at Perle Oban Hotel & Spa. This is a key role in the hotel, you’ll help ensure every guest-facing space is clean, welcoming, and presented to a high standard at all times. This four-star hotel blends period character with contemporary design, offering stylish rooms and relaxed luxury. Guests can dine in the Oban Brasserie, known for its Scottish classics and fresh seafood, or unwind in the Mara Spa, a calm retreat in the heart of the “Gateway to the Isles.”

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Keeping all public areas clean, tidy, and well-presented throughout the day
  • Maintaining reception areas, bar, restaurant, lounges, corridors, and guest facilities
  • Carrying out regular checks and responding quickly to cleaning needs
  • Supporting with restocking supplies and general upkeep
  • Working closely with the housekeeping team and wider hotel departments
  • Providing a friendly and professional presence around guests
  • Supporting housekeeping with guest rooms during busy periods when needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong eye for detail and pride in your work
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a guest-facing environment
  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful, but not essential
