The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of the hotel and play a key role in driving guest satisfaction, team performance and commercial success.

You’ll directly lead our

  • Maintenance Team

You’ll be responsible for ensuring high standards across every department while supporting the development of your management team and maintaining the exceptional guest experiences for which Perle Oban is known.

In the absence of the General Manager, you’ll take full operational responsibility for the hotel.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the Business
  • Overseeing the daily operation of the hotel.
  • Supporting and developing departmental managers.
  • Driving accountability, teamwork and operational excellence.
  • Taking ownership of key operational and financial targets.
  • Acting as General Manager when required.
  • Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences
  • Ensuring every guest receives a warm and memorable welcome.
  • Monitoring guest feedback and online reviews.
  • Managing service recovery and resolving guest concerns.
  • Driving continuous improvement across all guest touchpoints.
  • Managing Performance
  • Monitoring labour, productivity and departmental KPIs.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Driving efficiency without compromising service quality.
  • Supporting managers to achieve departmental targets.
  • Maintaining Standards
  • Ensuring bedrooms, public areas and facilities meet expected standards.
  • Supporting exceptional food and beverage service delivery.
  • Working with maintenance teams to protect and enhance hotel assets.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety standards.
