The Role

As our new Stock & Service Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient warehouse administration, and smooth coordination between warehouse operations, systems, and clients. This role is critical in a fast-paced 3PL environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and process compliance are essential.

Key Responsibilities for Stock & Service Assistant:

Stock Control

· Maintain accurate inventory records across all clients and SKUs within the WMS

· Conduct weekly cycle counts and full stock takes; investigate and resolve discrepancies

· Monitor stock movements including receipts, put-away, transfers, picking, dispatch, and returns

· Work closely with warehouse operations to correct stock variances promptly

Warehouse Administration

· Process inbound and outbound documentation accurately (GRNs, delivery notes, PODs, transfer notes)

· Update and maintain data accurately within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

· Prepare stock reports, variance reports, and client‑specific inventory reports

· Liaise with clients regarding stock queries, discrepancies, and reporting requirements

Customer Interaction

· Handle incoming calls, emails, and queries related to orders, deliveries, and returns

· Provide updates on order status and resolve delivery issues

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

· Previous experience in a warehouse role (preferred)

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS)

· Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

· Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes

· Experience with ERP systems or CRM platforms

· Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset

· Ability to work on own initiative

Education and Experience

· Experience in stock control is essential

· Proven experience in warehouse administration or logistics support

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems

· Strong organizational and time‑management skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
