The Role

This is a varied and hands-on role in which you will assist solicitors and manage matters efficiently, helping to ensure clients receive excellent service throughout. You will maintain a high standard of client care, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial support, including diary management, scheduling, and filing
  • Support clients through a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence
  • Assist with case files from instruction to completion, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Liaise with clients, tribunals, counsel, and other stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Assist solicitors with research and case preparation
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with firm and legal procedures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and workflows

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Desirable: Experienced as a paralegal or legal secretary
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident in written and verbal communication
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
  • Friendly, professional, and committed to delivering excellent client care

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working within an employment law team is highly advantageous
