We are seeking a motivated and commercially focused Solicitor (NQ - 3 PQE) to join our growing Debt Recovery team based in Newcastle. The department delivers high-quality legal services to some of the UK’s largest and most innovative financial services organisations.

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of unsecured debt recovery matters, providing strategic legal advice and delivering effective, efficient, and commercially focused case management on behalf of a range of financial services clients.
The role requires a proactive and solutions-focused solicitor who can achieve timely and pragmatic outcomes through litigation, negotiation, settlement, and enforcement action, while ensuring that client interests are protected at all times.
Person Specification
- Qualified Solicitor/CILEX in England & Wales with 0-3 years' PQE
- Experience of Part 7 litigation
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining excellent client service standards
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic and client‑focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality legal services and achieving positive client outcomes
