Responsibilities

  • Support RWE Control and Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, and Stores teams.
  • Ability and willingness to retrain and develop new skills.
  • Conducting planned maintenance, breakdowns, and Outage responsibilities with each team when required.
  • Covering and assisting in the site Stores when required.
  • Adhere to all RWE/Hargreaves Health and Safety regulations and policies.
  • Loading/unloading vehicles.
  • General Forklift duties.
  • Deliveries off site.
  • Willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Conducting any reasonable instruction directed by RWE Supervisor/Hargreaves Site Manager.

Qualifications

  • Maintenance experience or a strong desire to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Passport to Safety, IOSH Managing Safely desirable (training given).
  • Counterbalance Fork Truck desirable.
  • Reach Fork Truck, Telehandler (training given).
  • Full Driving Licence (essential).
  • Be comfortable working in Confined Spaces/Top Person duties-medium risk (training given) working at height and in an outdoor environment.
  • Be prepared, follow process, complete work to a high standard and take responsibility for your development and actions.
  • Role model the RWE desired behaviours, Trust, Passion, and Performance.
  • Be safety conscious, have the confidence to challenge unsafe acts, raise concerns, and precipitate in driving the safety culture on site.
