About IPRS PFAS

IPRS PFAS is an independent provider of quality medical assessments using a network of specialist health practitioners based in various clinics, mostly around the Southeast of the UK. We work on behalf of the DWP assessing claimants who have applied for PIP (Personal Independence Payments) benefit.

Role Overview

We are looking for a PIP Clinical Trainer to support newly hired healthcare professionals (HPs) who will conduct PIP assessments. The trainer will ensure HPs are prepared, providing online or hybrid training, guidance, and support throughout onboarding and training, delivering high-quality assessments and operational efficiency for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an online/hybrid training environment conducive to learning.
  • Support and guide new starters throughout onboarding and training, ensuring a successful start and foundation for future success.
  • Carry out personal and independent clinical assessments and examinations.
  • Interpret and analyse information gained in assessment to create a professional, accurate, and concise report advising on each individual’s level of needs and functional abilities.

Who we are looking for

All backgrounds are welcome; excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist, BSc or Qualified Paramedic or Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only).

Experience

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional delivering PIP assessments.
  • Previous experience delivering training in a group setting.

Knowledge

  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Broad clinical knowledge base.
  • Experience using computer software, including Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Coach within PIP.

Skills

  • Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, able to negotiate and respond to changing work environments.
  • Positive approach to change.
  • Demonstrates ongoing professional development.
  • Role model for other HPs regarding good practices and behaviour.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues.
  • Works within a team to achieve best outcomes for claimants and the client.
  • Can work under minimum supervision.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing.
  • Professional under pressure.
  • Contributes positively to organisational culture.
