Are you an energetic and hands‑on HR Manager? Seeking an HR Manager to lead the day‑to‑day HR operations. This is a practical, people‑focused role working closely with managers at all levels to provide proactive, solutions‑driven support. You’ll be someone who thrives on being visible, approachable and involved — equally comfortable advising on complex employee relations matters. This role will involve travel to our northern office locations (Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle and Wakefield).

Key Responsibilities
- Act as lead contact for employee relations, managing ER casework (investigations, sickness, probation, OH)
- Advise managers on performance, feedback and capability matters
- Oversee HR operations including contracts, compliance, audits and employment law guidance
- Manage and develop HR systems and processes
- Lead HR projects such as salary reviews, workforce planning and M&A support
- Administer benefits including medical insurance and life assurance
- Support delivery of the company People Plan and employee engagement initiatives
About You
- 4+ years’ experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience managing HR staff
- Organised, proactive and confident balancing strategic and operational work
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Eligible for Blue Light vetting (minimum 3 years UK residency)
