Job Purpose

The role of the Housekeeper is essential to helping our residents live full, happy, and healthy lives. You’ll take pride in delivering a spotless and hygienic home environment that contributes to their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, sinks, and countertops
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Using cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, and cloths effectively
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with toiletries and fresh towels
  • Cleaning mirrors, glass surfaces, and communal areas
  • Tidying and refreshing residents’ rooms
  • Monitoring and ordering cleaning supplies as required
  • Reporting repairs or maintenance issues promptly
  • Assisting in laundry duties and ensuring cleanliness throughout the home
  • Interacting positively with residents — joining conversations, offering a smile, and contributing to their sense of home

Requirements:

  • Naturally kind, caring, and compassionate
