The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, category management and commercial decision-making.
You'll identify growth opportunities, spot emerging trends, understand category dynamics and turn complex market, commercial and patient data into clear recommendations that drive action.
From assessing the next product launch opportunity to helping determine which markets, formats and innovations should form part of our future portfolio, your work will directly influence key business decisions.
This is not a reporting role.
It's an insight-driven strategy role for someone who enjoys understanding what's happening in a market, why it's happening and what the business should do next.
What You'll Do
- Lead category, portfolio and product performance analysis across international markets.
- Deliver regular State of the Nation insights to help shape strategic decision-making.
- Identify innovation opportunities, whitespace and emerging category trends.
- Assess market attractiveness, competitive positioning and portfolio gaps.
- Build business cases for new products, formats, markets and pricing actions.
- Support portfolio optimisation, SKU rationalisation and range reviews.
- Partner with Product teams to shape innovation pipelines and go/no-go decisions.
- Develop product-level forecasting and demand insights for new product introductions, S&OP and planning.
- Create executive-level insight presentations that influence senior leadership decisions.
- Build Power BI dashboards, KPI frameworks and reporting cycles that enable consistent decision-making.
- What You'll Bring
- 5+ years' experience in category management, product or portfolio insight, market or business intelligence, or commercial analytics, including experience at senior or lead level.
- Demonstrable experience using insight to influence portfolio, product, brand or category decisions.
- Advanced Power BI capability, including data modelling, dashboard design and report distribution to a business audience.
- Strong SQL and Snowflake capability.
- Experience drawing defensible conclusions from large, imperfect datasets across multiple sources.
- Strong commercial understanding of category growth, price architecture, margin, forecasting and P&L impact.
- Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with experience influencing senior and Executive stakeholders.
- Fluent English. Additional European languages would be beneficial.
- Experience in a regulated, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device or FMCG environment would be advantageous.
- You Are
- Curious, analytical and commercially minded.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and imperfect data.
- Able to turn complex analysis into a clear commercial story.
- Confident influencing stakeholders at every level of the business.
- Passionate about turning insight into meaningful business outcomes.
Why Join Us?
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future portfolio of a fast-growing international medical cannabis business.
