We are looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our successful Consultancy team based in Eltham, South East London with a potential for Project Team Leader responsibilities. The successful candidate should have a progressive outlook to help drive the delivery of our electrical services, collaborating with our architectural, building and quantity surveying groups to deliver projects throughout their life cycle. Current Projects include: Blue Light, Education and Corporate Buildings.
Job responsibilities
- Help Senior Engineers with project design and delivery.
- Understand client needs and rules, design building services, and keep organised project records.
- Create designs that meet regulations and company standards.
- Work closely with other team members.
- Prepare clear specifications, drawings, and schedules for electrical services.
- Get Senior Engineers to check designs before sending out.
- Do site surveys, testing, and commissioning as needed.
- Share design knowledge and help train junior colleagues.
- Assist with cost estimates, planning, and tendering.
- Attend meetings and help with minutes as needed.
- Manage and carry out project tasks each day.
- Lead and manage projects and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Relevant Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered status.
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Experience in a consultancy environment.
- Associate Member of IET or CIBSE.
- Lived in the UK for minimum of 3 years (due to vetting requirements).
