POSITION OVERVIEW

The Associate will support the design and delivery of projects through Incite’s problem‑led, insight‑driven consulting approach. This individual will engage with the full FMCG project lifecycle, from helping shape the brief and research design through the analysis and delivery. Projects range from 6 weeks to several months and you might be working on 3 or 4 projects at a time. Ideally we are looking for strong quantitative practitioners with experience of qualitative methodologies, or if not experience of, an interest in qualitative. This individual is expected to be curious and proactive, bringing a can‑do mindset and making a meaningful contribution to the projects and ongoing client accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports projects, including research design, writing questionnaires/ discussion guides, project management, performs analysis and preparation of reports based on clients objectives. Also contributes to brainstorms and the development of insights.
  • Builds trusted client relationships and manages their expectations by regular dialogue and follow‑ups on each project.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment by sharing ideas, working closely with colleagues, supporting team members, understanding their motivations, and adapting to different roles and projects to achieve shared goals.
  • Develops practical, business‑focused solutions by identifying key insights and constructively challenging assumptions to reach the best possible outcome.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Evidence of strong project management capability managing work to agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Ability to support with core elements of a project including questionnaire design, monitoring fieldwork and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Demonstrates confidence of basic quantitative analysis.
  • A problem‑solving mindset, with the confidence to independently resolve day‑to‑day issues while recognising when to seek support.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with a collaborative approach that supports teamwork and best practice.
  • Confident in SPSS or Q or other relevant statistical software.
